What do I need to bring? Kodiak's weather can be inclement, at times, so it is advisable
you are equipped with the following on your adventure:
-Waterproof footwear (rubber boots are best) -Multiple clothing layers -Quality rain
gear -Hat and gloves -Camera
How do I get my fish home? We recommend that clients have their fish processed at
a local facility (we can recommend a facility) where they will portion, flash freeze,
and box your fish to your specification for flying home with you. Magnum Charters
has had family and clients fly back to the East Coast with fish and it has stayed
frozen for up to 48 hrs.
Do I need to bring my own lunch/snacks for my fishing trip? Lunches, soft drinks
and coffee provided for fishing days, but you are certainly welcome to bring your
own food, especially if you have specific dietary restrictions and/or allergies.
Do I need to bring my own fishing gear and bait? We also provide all the quality
fishing gear and bait needed for the day, included in the price, but clients are
welcome to bring their own equipment if they would like.
Should I bring my medications? YES! Please bring a day’s worth that you think you
may need. All crew members have first aid training and CPR certifications, but we
do not carry, nor can we administer, ANY prescription medications.
